PRACTICAL PISTOL & LOW LIGHT APPLICATIONS
This is a joint Slytac Training and Velox Training Group class. It is a mixture of handgun mechanics, mobility work around stages and vehicles combined with low light.
(2 Day, 16 hour course)
Prerequisites:
Not a new shooter. Safe and comfortable with handling a firearm around others.
Schedule:
Day 1 will consist of 4 hours doing handgun mechanics, low light theory will be covered during lunch and finish with 4 hours of low light mechanics.
Day 2 will consist of 4 hours of handgun skills & drills followed up with 4 hours of low light applications in and around vehicles.
Required Equipment:
Ear and eye protection - Clear eye pro for low light work
Pistol (caliber: 9mm or larger)
Kydex style holster (No nylon/soft holsters that don't keep shape)
3-5 mags & pouches
800 rounds of ammunition minimum
Hand held light (mandatory) - WML optional (but recommended)
Spare lights & extra batteries - headlamp
4 glowsticks
Plenty of Water/Lunch/Snacks - we will not break for lunch
Personal Individual First aid kit (Gear to be used on you)
Marker & Notepad
Tools for your equipment
Cleaning kit w/ oil
Rain gear and sunscreen (depending on weather)
